“DON’T CRY FOR ARGENTINA” SAYS NEW PRESIDENT MILEI.

“Don’t Cry For Me, Argentina,” written by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber became and remains a powerful tribute in song to Eva Peron (Evita), wife of Juan Peron who was the Argentinian President in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Eva Peron was a controversial figure in Argentinian history. She was a hero to many Argentines for helping to push through social reforms such as votes for women. However, others criticized her for her actions during her time as First Lady, mainly because she was aware of the problems of widespread poverty but lacked the vision to deal with them in any systematic way. These problems have persisted up to the current day.

And so now, in the course of time, it has now fallen upon a new broom to try and sweep away the economic problems plaguing Argentina.
